Hundred Days is more like a theatrical concert than a traditional musical. Based on a true story, the Bengsons tell an indie folk rock memoir about surmounting trauma in the name of love. The band functions as an extension of the Bengsons’ internal lives. Band members are sometimes real-life characters or disembodied voices, representing the subconscious forces of the central duo’s entwined fate.
